Fund Raising: Collecting Slightly Worn Shoes For Soles4Souls

Last year my church collected more than 700 pairs of shoes for Soles4Souls. And yesterday they did the same thing. These are some of the shoes that I donated myself. My husband and the kids also donated some shoes. Some of the shoes were just sitting in the garage collecting dusts. I became involved with soles4soles about a year ago. I want to be part of the great work that they are doing. They help countries around the world, including my birth place, Haiti. I want to encourage you to support them either by donating your shoes at their nearest location, or by donating $10.00 using my personal link.

When you give don’t give the worn out shoes that you wouldn’t give to your sister. Give the shoes you would want to borrow from your girlfriend’s closet. It’s summer and you are probably thinking about getting new sandals, give away the ones that you no longer wear. The ones that have become too small because of pregnancy or weight gain. “Give and it will be given onto you.” Visit the website for a location close to you, or for more information on how to give.
