I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I cannot believe it's Monday already. I am still behind on a few things. Being the PRO in procrastinating, I rarely get anything done on time. I still haven't seen TWO GUNS. I know. Being the great DENZEL WASHINGTON fan that I am, I feel like I just committed a crime.
If you are like me, you probably suffer from dry skin. My skin dries up for no reason at all. Some people's skin get dry around winter time. When the weather sucks up the moisture from their skin, but some of us have dry skin all year round. The simplest way to fight dry skin is to moisturize your skin often, but if you need a permanent solution to your problem, I got you!
You will need:1 cup baking soda
Add the baking soda to a warm bath and soak in it for at least 10 minutes. This will allow the solution to penetrate the roughest parts of your skin like your knees, elbows, and heels. Apply the petroleum jelly to your skin while it is still damped from your bath to seal in the moisture. Just like you use oil to seal the moisture in your hair. Wear clothes or socks made with cotton to keep your skin moisturized. This is a great nightly routine. Your skin will thank you if you do that every night during the winter. If you can't do it every night, just apply the petroleum jelly on your feet and wear a pair of cotton socks to bed. That will leave you with beautiful soft feet in the morning.
We all have different skin problems. Even people with sensitive skin can suffer from rough, dry skin. Keep moisturizing your skin even when the problem is cleared. You can make your own moisturizer by adding jojoba and coconut oils to a small amount of 100% African Shea butter, or petroleum jelly.
