Boots Botanics Shine Away Ionic Clay Mask REVIEW

Clay mask
Hi everybody,
I hope you had a wonderful weekend. New week usually means new review around here, and today I am reviewing Boots Botanics Shine Away Ionic Clay Mask. I got it from influenster, but the price varies between $8 to $10 for a 3.5 US oz. Boots Botanics Shine Away Ionic Clasy Mask promises to “actively removes inpurities and deeply cleanses the skin. I have tried it a few times since I got it, let see how it did.

Product information.

Actively removes impurities and deeply cleanses. Oceanic minerals help draw out deep-rooted impurities and oil without overdrying.
Skin is left clearer, softer and smoother.  Willowbark is a natural source of salicylic acid, which helps refine skin texture and actively target imperfections.

Apply to cleansed skin.  Smooth a generous layer of mask over the face and neck avoiding eyes. Leave for 10 minutes.  Wipe away excess mask with tissues and rinse with warm water.  Use weekly.

INGREDIENTS: Sea Salt (Natural oceanic clay), Aqua (Water), Potassium Sorbate, Bark Extract ,Sodium hydroxymethylglycinate, Salix Nigra (willow).

Clay mask review

My Personal Opinion

Pros

  • No added fragrance
  • Dries quickly
  • Softens skin
  • Moisturizing
  • Works as promised
Cons
  • Too watery, can be messy.
  • Itchy Skin
The bottom Line: Okay, here is the rundown! This is the best mask that I have used so far, for one reason,  and one reason only: It does not dry my skin out. Good, right? It leaves my skin very soft after I washed it out. Most face masks leave my skin very dry after each use, but this one was different. This product promises to remove impurities, which it did, but it can be messy. It was more watery then expected.  It made my skin a little itchy while it was drying out. Other than that, It worked fine for me.
