Fitness Friday: The Importance Of Eating Breakfast

Emerald Breakfast on The Go

Hello Darlings,
I have missed lots of opportunities in my life, but not eating breakfast has never been one of them. My best friend told me about a little quote that goes like this, “Eat all your breakfast, share your lunch with your friend, and give your dinner to your enemy.” That’s how important eating breakfast is. Here is my quote for you, “Eating breakfast means loving one’s self.” I know people who just cannot eat in the morning. Some of them can’t because of medical reasons, and some are just born this way. But for those of yo who can, eating a good meal in the morning is the best gift that you can give to your body.

Fitness Friday
I don’t function well when I don’t eat breakfast. I get cranky, nauseated, and weak.  I used to have lots of doctor’s appointments when my daughter was born. I had to be in the clinic early for some of them, which means I had a choice between skipping breakfast and packing something to eat in the car. You bet I packed something to eat in the car! A big breakfast is recommended, but having something that you can eat on the go is better than not having anything at all. I tend to eat more during the day when I don’t eat breakfast. Eating a healthy breakfast in the morning is an effective way to avoid late night eating, too. How much I eat in the morning and how early I eat it is very important. I figured that my body will never ask me for more than it needs. So I listen to my body and eat accordingly. I have always been a breakfast eater, but eating breakfast has been one important key in my weight loss journey.
What about you, do you love to eat breakfast?

I have never been big on eating breakfast especially at home I seem to have no problem with hotel breakfasts when out of town but I am slowly working to rectify that.

I have to be honest, I've skipped it a couple of times but I try my absolute best not to. I prefer a lighter breakfast though!

I can be bad about sipping breakfast but I try to grab a pack of oatmeal or at the very least make a smoothie to take with me – the magic bullet is a life saver!
