What I really want for mother's day is breakfast in bed, followed by a spa day (at my house), and a date with Lifetime. It's been years since I spent a Sunday watching lifetime movies only while eating ice cream. I think what I am really saying is I want a day OFF. One day where I don't have to take care of anybody. But we all know that's not going to happen, right? We are the gladiators, the over-doers. We like to come to the rescue when we don't think our hubbies are doing things right. We love them because they try. And we know they cannot get it right in one day. We might do a lot, but at least we know we are appreciated.
