OOTD: Time To Go Shopping For Smaller Clothes

 Hi guys,

This is a late post. I kept second guessing myself about posting those photos. Then I thought,  how would I know for sure if I don’t share them with you? And please, leave your comments below! I have had this shirt in my closet for a few months now. Although I did not pay a penny for it, I feel like I will be throwing some money away soon because it is getting too big. This is one of the downsides of losing weight. The jeans are still okay because they were two sizes smaller when I bought them. I was so happy when my sister gave me the shirt. Now I hate having to re-gift it.

My 4-year old took those photos. I am still waiting for that #FrenchPhotographer to come sweep me off my feet. I had just washed my hair. See, that’s why I do not do “wash n’ gos”. The shrinkage just kills me.

The shirt was so big, I could not get it right. I was fixing it when that happened:-) I went shopping in my garage. You know those clothes you thought you would never wear because you have gotten too big, some of mine are in those bags after spending months in the garage.

Only my mind can understand what language my lips are talking in this picture, but the background is so beautiful I had to share it with you.

Hugs&Kisses

That is a very good reason to get shopping, but I would not get rid of that shirt. You could wear it as a kimono over your crop tops or as a bathing suit cover-up because the color is superb.

Oh Nerline! I'm happy for you that you are approaching your weight loss goal. And that is such a cute pink shirt. You can still wear it though just as it is by tying it at the bottom. You know; very fun look.

First honey you look beautiful. The shirt is so pretty and if I were you I wouldn't give it away. It looks like one of thse versatile pieces. You can wear it as a sort of cardigan, sorry honey I explain things very badly, hope you know what I mean, wear it open on top of something else, very casual but still chic. It will dress down a LBD, it will dress up a destroyed skinny. Wear it with leggings and with a belt like some kind of tunic. There are endless ways of wearing an over sized top like this one. OK with that said I now have to tell ya………you don't have time to shop Missy, there is a product waiting to be tested. You are not to shop, is that understood 😉
    kisses darling

I love oversized shirts. I think you can put a slim belt around the waist to accentuate your waistline. Congratulations on losing weight.

I've seen a few other blogs where a youngster assists with photos, and I think it's super cute to have a team like that. Pink looks great on you too! Definitely do not give the shirt away, it's always better to regift or donate. But if you decide to keep it, I think it would be a great beach cover up.

I love that shirt. Suits your complexion well. Kudos on the weight loss. You're a brave soul to try a wash and go.

I agree with everyone else. The shirt is a keeper.

I think paired with a waist hugging belt the pink shirt is definitely a keeper! Either way I do understand the pain of replacing a wardrobe. It sucks and is fun all at the same time…enjoy the ride! By the way you look fabulous. I can definitely see the weight loss 😀

This is one time I don't think you should fret over getting new clothes, your clothes don't fit anymore for good reasons.

First of all the shirt is really pretty. Love the color and texture. You can either donate it as a way of moving forward from the weight loss. Or you can wear it when you need to layer. Either over your swimwear on the beach or pool or even as a lounge shirt. Just cinch the waist with a belt. Oversized shirts are often trendy.
