Softlips Cube Pomegranate Blueberry 5 -in- 1 Lip Care REVIEW

Happy Monday! I know not all of us are excited about this day, but remember it is also one of the days that the Lord has made. We all should be happy to see another day. Monday is also review day around here; another reason for you to be happy:-)
I introduced you to this product before here from my Influenster Spring Fling VoxBox. Yeah I know, I am still reviewing products from that box! Softlips Cube  Pomegranate Blueberry 5 -in- 1 Lip Care  is one of the latest lip products by SOFTLIPS. I don’t think I have heard of this brand before receiving this box. This particular product comes in three different scents/flavors: Pomegranate, Fresh Mint, and Vanilla Bean. The price varies depending on where you purchase it; I think $3.49 is the lowest price you can pay for a .23 oz cube. This product promises to hydrate the lips, provides shine, and protect your lips against UV rays. Let’s see how it did, shall we?

My opinion

Pros

  • Affordable
  • Long lasting
  • Hydrating
  • SPF 15 Sunscreen
  • Moderately scented
  • Impressive packaging

Cons

  • Too sweet
The Bottom Line

This product provides just the right amount of shine. It does not leave behind extra amount of grease that travels down your chin. It starts working right away. The super cute cube  makes it easy for you to find it in your bag. It is also a good companion if you decide to take it to your trip. The balm itself is very hydrating and long lasting. My lips felt healthier after using it for three consecutive weeks. I cannot say much about the SPF 15 claim because I am not an outdoor person, but I noticed that my lips are less dark compared to when I was not using it. My only problem is that the product is too sweet. I found myself  licking my lips like L.L Cool Jay every time I use it. Other than that, it is a wonderful product. I would recommend it to my friends.

I believe i have heard of Softlips. If i am correct, i think they also make a skinny tubed lip balm too. Anyway this ball thingy in a cube is fancy and sounds like a cool product. Thanks for the review Nerline :).

Haha, love that LL Cool J reference! I used to use their super skinny lip balm and remember that one being too sweet as well. I do like the packaging of this product, it looks like it would last a very long time.
