How To Get A Twist-Out On Kanekalon Hair

Getting  A Twist-Out On Kanekalon Hair is very simple. If you are not familiar with Kanekalon hair, it is a synthetic hair used for for braiding, twists, cornrows, and even crochet braids. I use protective styles a lot. And because this hair is affordable, it is my go-to when it comes to creating these hairstyles. Today I am going to share with you how yours truly got a twist-Out On Kanekalon Hair.

How To Get A Twist-Out On Kanekalon Hair

Washing my hair while wearing extensions, braids, or twists ,  is very important to me. I don’t want my ends to get all dry and brittle. And I also want to keep my hair fresh and clean.
{1} I added five drops of tea tree oil to my Alberto V05 Herbal Escapes Clarifying Conditioner and rubbed it on my scalp only while my hair was in medium twists. Tea Tree Oil is good at removing product buildups and other bacteria from the hair and scalp.
{2} I rinsed my hair very well with cool water.
{3} I did use a T-Shirt to dry my hair for about 30 minutes.
{4} While my hair was still in medium twists, I dipped the twists in hot water two at a time. I waited for each individual twist to cool off, then I untwist them.
{5} I oiled my scalp with Jojoba oil.

Final results of my twist-out

Can you see how my pimple vanished within a week? I put tea tree oil on it three days in a row, then left it alone. Now it’s gone! I started to sweat on the AFTER photo because it was close to 80 degrees outside. My bad!

I did my hair on Saturday, and I think it is still looking good. I still have some curl definitions and it does not look like a hot mess. I will have my outfit post tomorrow y’all.  I did not want this post to be too long. I think I said enough about my hair. How was your wash day?

Thanks for telling me, Neti. I loved the big hair too, but I thought it was too much because of the heat.

Gorgeous hun you look gorgeous!!! I still love my triple thingy shampoo but when it's empty I need to get something new. Anything you can recommend? Did the tea tree oil really did the trick? Wow! I should give it a try, if only I could let those darn things alone, lol.

Can the flexis stand the heat? Because we have to dip it in hot water to form the curls.
