Fitness Friday:: Strawberry And Greek Yogurt Smoothie

Hi guys!!  As you can see,  I am still paying for the damages that I caused two weeks ago. I totally messed up my diet. Now I am working hard to get back on track. I am drinking more smoothies and eating less rice. I did good at staying away from Chinese or any other kind of buffets. I added  35 minutes to my workout routine. And, I am drinking more water and less sweet tea now. I only cheated once. I went to Zaxby’s and had a salad. We don’t keep soda in the house, and I was craving soda all week. The little devil in me convinced me that it was okay to have some Diet Dr. Pepper. I had the cherry vanilla, and I have no regrets.

This smoothie is very easy to make. Like any other smoothie, right?

You will need:

2 hands full of strawberries
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
1 cup milk
5 oz.  Greek yogurt

Directions:
Just put everything in a blender and hit PUREE. How simple is that?

I used Organic Soy milk, but you don’t have to. I like it because it adds a little vanilla flavor to the smoothie. You can also skip the brown sugar. It is not necessary. Since me and Greek yogurt don’t get along, I figured using brown sugar would establish some kind of peace between us. This is one of my favorite smoothies. It is very filling and it tastes good too.

Bon Appetit

Sounds easy enough. Macy's has the Nutribullet on sale, might snag one so I can have more smoothies! Enjoy your weekend!

Smooties are so amazing, and good for you. You are totally right about skipping the sugar, If you add it because of the yogurt, have you tried the smoothing with just the milk? Just so you don't have to add the extra calories? I know the consistency will be a bit more liquid, but I think it will still taste great! Have a fabulous weeken Nerline!

Hey NG. . Diet Dr. Pepper is my thing and the Cherry Vanilla flavor is crack! I do love a smoothie, have the ingredients in stock and should drink them often. But, LAZY keeps violating my space. LOL!!

LOL! Hi Neti! This drink is so addictive it should be illegal. Why do you think we don't keep it in the house? My kids would be high all day.

Strangely enough I'm not a big strawberry fan unless they are in smoothies. You'll be back on track in no time 🙂
