Side note: This is my first book review on this blog. Since this is also a fashion blog, I think that this book is more than appropriate for me to share with you.
Purse'averance’ written by Gwen E. Campbell tells the story of a genuine suede purse with a shiny buckle. It pretty much explains what the purse went through before finding the perfect owner, whom she will later call "My Girl". The genuine purse with the shiny buckle moved from the basement to the half price table at a huge department store a few times before "Her Girl" bought her and took her home with her. Upon arriving at her owner's house, she met her owners family. She also met the other accessories once she made it to the closet. What happened next is a series of conversations between the accessories. The Genuine Suede purse is a talker. She only listens when she wants to. If only our accessories could talk to us? Can you imagine your shoes telling you to get a pedicure before stepping into them?
"There is no honor in being on the half-price table, it means simply, no one wanted me."
