Hello lovelies! Welcome to the new chicfromhair2toe.com! In an effort to keep the blog clutter free and more professional looking, I have decided to use a different template. You might wonder why I keep changing my layout and background colors all the time. Well, when you have a degree in computer software, what do you do? You keep touching stuff you shouldn't be touching, right? Anyway, I really like this template and I think I will leave it alone:-)
My wash day was so simple, I don't even have the courage to call it a wash day experience. My hair has been in those twists since my last wash day. I twisted my hair on its own, then I use a generous amount of Marley hair and re-twist each one of my own twists. That sounds complicated, right? But it is not.
- I applied my Alberto V05 clarifying conditioner to the twists, paying attention to my ends. I put my shower cap on, left is on for about 10 minutes.
- I hopped into the shower, rinsed the hair very well while rubbing my scalp with the tips of my fingers, not the nails.
- I used a T-shirt to dry the hair for about 30 minutes, then I went outside to let it air dry.
- After I was 100% sure that no water was dripping from the twists, I added my oil mix (coconut oil, castor oil, and extra virgin olive oil)
Hair of the week
The day I washed my hair was a hot and humid day. The water felt so good. I continued to moisturize and seal my hair during the week. I am so ready to remove the twists now. How was your wash day?
