Hairstyle + Wash Day: Small Flower, Big Difference

Hello hair lovers!! I did not do much to the hair this week
because there is a fever going around. My daughter had it last
Wednesday. We went to the “beach”, and when we came back she had a
100-degree fever. My son and my husband caught it on Saturday. And today
it is my turn. We are sure it is a virus that’s going around. Hey, we
cannot avoid these kind of things, right? The pictures below are close
shots. My head and face look bigger than usual. I assure you there is no
bun in the oven:-) For this hairstyle all I did was fluffed the hair a
little and used a flower as my accessory.  I am still rocking the
crochet braids, which gives my hair more volume.

#WashDayExperience

The Wash Day Experience{1} In an applicator bottle, I mixed 1 tablespoon of TREsemme moisture rich shampoo, a few drops  of tea tree oil, 5 drops of peppermint essential oil, a few drops of argan oil, and a little bit of water.  I squeezed the mix on my scalp and rubbed it with my finger tips.

{2} After rinsing out the shampoo, I used my V05 Moisture milk to condition my hair.

{3} I only deep conditioned the hair that’s left out. I had to cut corners.

{4} I squeezed the water dripping from the hair after the final rinse(while the hair was still in section) with a T-shirt to avoid friction and the loss of the curls.

{5} I Moisturized with Garnier Fruictis leave-in conditioner and sealed with Jamaican black castor oil and Shea butter.

Hairstyle of the week

If you have itchy scalp and suffer from dandruff due to sulfate shampoos, I suggest you add some Tea Tree and Peppermint oils to your shampoo. They are very helpful.  My wash day was pretty boring, but I really loved the results. Enough about my feverish forehead, how was your wash day?

My face is looking a little fuller too and I assure there is no bun in my oven either. I just like to eat.

The flower is a nice touch. Niecy Nash said no one ever tells her no when she wears a flower. She calls it flower power. I might have shared that with you already.

Hope you and the peeps feel better!
