Head Scarf Wrapped Bun On Natural Hair

I tried the head scarf Wrapped Bun On Natural Hair this week. My wash day was once again very boring, but I was happy to do a little deep conditioning and trimming. I co-washed my hair using Alberto V05 clarifying conditioner, but I don’t think it did a good enough job because the hair felt very stiff the next day. I plan to wash with shampoo next time. I get good results with sulfate shampoos when I prep my hair with a moisturizing conditioner first.

I use the conditioner to detangle my hair. Then in a separate bottle, I mix the shampoo with a small amount of water and apply it to my scalp. The only time I don’t use a conditioner is when I do my overnight oil treatment. This routine always works. I added some new products to my shelves. I finally got to try Aussie 3-Minute Miracle Moist. So far, so good. I also bought the Garnier Fructis Hydra-recharge conditioner. I will review both of them as soon as I am done using them.

Hair of the week

The idea of wrapping my bun came to mind after seeing my scarf laying on the kitchen table. I was going to throw it in the laundry basket, but decided to do this instead. When I asked my daughter if I looked cute, she said no. Well, I decided to go with my gut and took some pictures. What do you think?

The Aussie 3-minute miracle conditioner is amazing! It's so cheap too and by far my favorite drugstore find for curls!
