2015 Top 5 Hairstyles And Hair Product Fails

Today I am sharing with you my Top Five 2015 Hairstyles + Hair Product Fails.  Wow, what a year it has been! And boy, did I learn a lot? Yes. I learned a lot from you. After 3 years of learning and caring for my hair, I must say that the third year was a charm. I learned so much about how protein affects the hair.

Moisture

I also learned about how the hair absorbs moisture. I would say that my greatest discovery was how using coffee can stop shedding and promote hair growth. My hair started to shed since the end of last year. But as soon as I started to use the coffee, I saw less and less hair in the shower when I washed my hair. Another problem for me this year was using products that contain protein on my 4c hair. My ends became dry and thin as a result.

After I realized that too much protein was the enemy, I started to take biotin and used more moisturizing products on my hair. It was my second time taking biotin since 2012. My hair started to get fuller a few months after I started to take the biotin tablets. The fuller my hair got, the more comfortable I felt to trim my ends because the ends of my hair wouldn’t curl up for nothing. Now I look at my hair and I feel how a contestant feels after Ryan Seacrest tells her that she is the winner of American Idol. I am loving  my hair and embracing my curls. My hair has not reached maximum hydration yet, but it is well on its way!

My Top Five 2015 Hairstyles + Hair Product Fails

The worse product I have used this year

The worse product has to be this Hair conditioner by Garnier. It left my hair feeling stripped.

One of the best products I have used

The award goes to Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist! I am not a big fan of the packaging, but it is a true miracle.

My Top Five 2015 Hairstyles

The Janelle Monae hairstyle  (far left) is my number one favorite hairstyle of 2015. It completely changed the way I look.

The high bun has been my go-to hairstyle throughout the year. It is
convenient for me because my hair is fuller at the top of my head. Expect to see more buns and less twists next year. Now that my is longer, I plan on creating more beautiful hairstyles with different hair accessories. Was 2015 good to your hair? If you tried a product that was a complete failure, please share it with us.

I love all the looks but my absolute favorite is the second small pic where you wear that checkered top, cute cute cute cute cute. I no longer use the triple thingy, somehow my hair got greasier by the day. Oh and my scalp got a bit itchy. Happy new year, my beautiful sis.
