African black soap for acne

My opinion

Whenever I get massive pimples on my forehead, I know it's time to take a break from my hair growth supplements, AKA biotin. You may have missed it, but I complained about my pimples here on the blog, and at least two blogger friends suggested that I try African black soap. I decided to try an  African black soap by Nubian Heritage.  I had a problem with the soap containing so many different products before buying it, but I decided to give it a try anyway. This black soap is a total miracle. I love the way it makes my skin look and feel after every wash. It is very gentle on the skin and does not contain a lot of harsh chemicals that will dry out the skin. It works by removing impurities from the skin, not only to remove acne, but to also stop future breakouts. The scent is not the best, but that doesn't really bother me. This product contains vitamin E that adds softness to the skin. And coconut oil, which is good at treating acne.

The bottom line
This product may not be suitable for people who are allergic to oats. It works great on my oily skin, but it might work differently for you if you have sensitive skin.  Will I buy it again? Yes! It is worth the money.

  2. lovely post Nerline looks like its been helping you a great lot, i tried this about a year or so ago it helped but it made my skin darker so i had to stop using it.
    have a great day
p.s. i changed my blog url

  5. That was an amazing turn around. I don't care for the smell but if it will do the job, i'm downn for that. Great review Nerline!

  6. It really works! I have seen different types of black soap but this one is new to me. Thanks for sharing.

  7. I was washing my body with this soap but was reluctant to try it on my face. You got great results! I have a liquid black soap that I will try on my cheek where I break out to see if it works

  8. I never tried these kind of dark soaps, but your before and after pic actually makes me really wanna try one now :) Thanks for the review doll!

  9. Que maximo ótima resenha, tenha uma semana maravilhosa.

  10. Wow that made such a difference on you. I've seen that soap before, but thought it might irritate my skin for the same reasons you did. Though now I may have to try it. Great review!

  11. It definitely worked for you. I've heard black soap in general is good for eczema and other skin related issues. I will check this out next time I go to Target. Thanks for sharing.

  12. Wow, that is pretty amazing. I always used black soap back in the days when it was so buge and the one i used sure helped. I can see it worked well for you. Very nice review.

  13. Good to know it is working and I have heard that oats work wonders on oily skin

  14. The black soap is a favorite in Africa. I like that it is made of organic ingredients.

  15. I've heard about black soap, but never knew what it did. WOW! That is awesome Nerline.

  16. You got very good results with this soap. I haven't heard of black soap but would definitely try it now!

  17. I've heard other people that also like using black soap. I usually, don't get breakouts but if I do I will certainly try out the black soap. My skin tends to be dry at times, so I wonder how it works for dry skin.

  18. I love Nubian Heritage soaps, yet I have never tried their black soap. I had a bad experience with pure black soap before and it dried my skin out horribly. Since this formula contains added ingredients, I wonder if it's more moisturizing.

Looks like you had great results, Nerline. I might have to look into trying this formula, especially since my skin has been a little hormonal lately. Thank you for sharing your review with us! Have you tried any of the other Nubian Heritage soaps?
