African black soap for acne
My opinion
Whenever I get massive pimples on my forehead, I know it’s time to take a break from my hair growth supplements, AKA biotin. You may have missed it, but I complained about my pimples here on the blog, and at least two blogger friends suggested that I try African black soap. I decided to try an  African black soap by Nubian Heritage.  I had a problem with the soap containing so many different products before buying it, but I decided to give it a try anyway. This black soap is a total miracle. I love the way it makes my skin look and feel after every wash. It is very gentle on the skin and does not contain a lot of harsh chemicals that will dry out the skin. It works by removing impurities from the skin, not only to remove acne, but to also stop future breakouts. The scent is not the best, but that doesn’t really bother me. This product contains vitamin E that adds softness to the skin. And coconut oil, which is good at treating acne.

The bottom line

This product may not be suitable for people who are allergic to oats. It works great on my oily skin, but it might work differently for you if you have sensitive skin.  Will I buy it again? Yes! It is worth the money.

That is amazing, I can tell the difference. I have heard a lot of good things about this soap, but have never tried it. Probably won't because my skin likes to act funny, lol. Happy Sunday, sis.

I wouldn't know about the dark skin issue because I use a cream for even tone skin during the winter. Thank you!

I was washing my body with this soap but was reluctant to try it on my face. You got great results! I have a liquid black soap that I will try on my cheek where I break out to see if it works

Try it. Your face just might like it too.

Wow that made such a difference on you. I've seen that soap before, but thought it might irritate my skin for the same reasons you did. Though now I may have to try it. Great review!

It definitely worked for you. I've heard black soap in general is good for eczema and other skin related issues. I will check this out next time I go to Target. Thanks for sharing.

I've heard other people that also like using black soap. I usually, don't get breakouts but if I do I will certainly try out the black soap. My skin tends to be dry at times, so I wonder how it works for dry skin.

I love Nubian Heritage soaps, yet I have never tried their black soap. I had a bad experience with pure black soap before and it dried my skin out horribly. Since this formula contains added ingredients, I wonder if it's more moisturizing.

Looks like you had great results, Nerline. I might have to look into trying this formula, especially since my skin has been a little hormonal lately. Thank you for sharing your review with us! Have you tried any of the other Nubian Heritage soaps?
