I hope you had a fantastic Mother's Day. Mine was great. I did absolutely NOTHING. It is the day when I get to stay away from the kitchen. We bought Chinese food and ate at the park with kids. Since most restaurants have long waiting lines on Mother's Day, it was the least frustrating thing to do. Hubby and the kids got me flowers, and it was a beautiful day to be outdoors.
So, the last time I went to the thrift shop, I did not only get one shirt. I also got a dress for $20.00. I may or may not have gotten a few other things, but that's not important right now. Let's talk about the dress. I do most of my clothes shopping online. But when I go to the thrift shop and see something with the price tag still attached to it, I have a hard time leaving it in the store for somebody else. Selfish, right? Most of the time I don't even try it on. This dress is a size 14P. Can you tell by how short it looks on your girl? I could barely cross my legs. But, I love the quality of the fabric. It feels soft on the skin and it is very durable. And the fit is not bad either. You would think that the cardigan came with the dress. I got it at Macy's a long time. The shoes are old too. I got the Emilie M. Loren tote bag on Groupon for $29.00 about a month ago. The original price was $75.00. It reminds me of the Michael Kors Jet Set East West tote bag. I am also wearing Paparrazi jewelry that you can find here. I thought a little bit of color popping would do me some good. What do you think?
