Easy Single French Braid Faux Hawk Bun | #WashDayExperience

After my successful wash and go last week, I decided to put my hair back in a bun. I'm giving my hair a break from the twists until my vacation. I think putting your hair in a long term protective style is a must when going on vacation. This way you don't have to travel with a lot of hair products, and you spend more time enjoying your vacation instead of dealing with styling your hair.

Happy hump day! My wash days have been boring and pretty much the same lately, but I did a hot oil treatment on Monday. It was way overdue. 15 to 30 minutes is all it takes to get the best out of your hot oil  treatment, but I ended up napping with the oil on my hair. Please don't try this at home. Thank God I had enough coverage to protect my pillow. Let me tell you what's working for my hair right now! After I washed  my hair with the L'OREAL shampoo. I conditioned my hair using  TREsemme moisture rich conditioner. The deep conditioning part was done using Aussie 3-minute Miracle + coconut oil, followed by enough heat for the deep penetration of these two products. I then moisturized the hair using vitamin E oil, a small amount of glycerin oil, my Shea butter mix, and my Cantu Argan oil leave-in conditioner; in that order.  I twisted my hair and styled it the next day.

The Wash Day Experience

Hair of the week

My first faux hawk. Haha! It did not turn out the way I wanted because I was in a hurry, but it was good enough for me to run some errands. What do you think?  How was your wash day?
