OGX Hydrate Plus Repair Argan Oil of Morocco Creamy Hair Butter REVIEW

Today I am reviewing OGX Hydrate Plus Repair Argan Oil of Morocco Creamy Hair Butter. Not   all deep conditioners are created  equal. Some are formulated to strengthen  the hair. And others are formulated  to provide  moisture. And once in a while, you will find one that provides  moisture  and adds a little  protein at the same time. I think this conditioner falls  in the latter category. This hair product can also be used on your skin. I have mixed feelings about it. Keep reading  to find out if it’s right for your  hair.

OGX Hydrate Plus Repair Argan Oil of Morocco Creamy Hair Butter REVIEW

My opinion

OGX Hydrate Plus Repair Argan Oil of Morocco Creamy Hair Butter may be la Crème de la Crème, but my  hair did not like it  at all.  The sure thing about it is that it is very creamy and it smells so good. After adding the product to my hair, I left it on for a few minutes. Instead  of feeling soft, my hair felt stiff like I just had a protein treatment. After rinsing out the product, my hair was still in need of a good moisturizing conditioner. I did not get the “deep moisture” claimed in the description.  Is this a bad product? No. It is just not good for my hair.

Who is this product for?

In my opinion, if your hair is in its natural state, this product is not necessary. But if your hair is severely damaged due to some chemicals, you will benefit from this product. If your hair is dry and brittle because of heat styling, you can also benefit from it. If you’ve had issues  Argan oil in the past, this probably  not the best product for your hair.

You can always tell Nerline, when the hair feels cruchy! LOL I don't like products that don't sink in. Thanks for this honest review.

Great review!!! I love it when your reviews help me to stay away from products that aren't the best for natural hair. ☺

The hair butter sounds great, but I tried shampoo and conditioner of the Argan Oil line and my hair didn´t really like it for some reason. I had really high hopes, guess I will skip on this one. I love other OGX lines better, like Kukui and Brazilian Keratin. I tried them and they were really good.

I haven't seen this in the shops over here in the UK as yet although I haven't been looking. Great review, I'm always sad when new products don't work how I anticipate 🙁

This was a very fair review Nerline. I'm glad that you were at least able to use it on your skin.

Oh no, I was so curious to read how your hair took it. Almost positive you'd give it raving reviews. It sucks that it left a residue. I just got the one in the blue bottle, recommended by a friend. I hope it works well on my hair, (not the wig, LOL).

I love your honest opinion on the product. I haven't tried it before but I must say it is a good thing that it works for severely chemical damaged hair.
