Color blocking your way to a chic outfit this season doesn't require a scientific formula. There was a time when paying attention to how you mix and match colors was a big deal. Now, a combination of colors that does not hurt the eye is totally acceptable by most fashion designers and fashionistas alike. My idea of color blocking is to pair one cool color with a warm color, then add a darker or lighter shade of either color. Simple, right?
Happy new week everyone! How was your weekend? Fall is settling in nicely. But I have a feeling winter will be brutal. Don't say I did not warn you. Last week was a little busy. Hubby took a few days off from work and the kids were on fall break. We spent a lot of time with them, and that kept me away from the blog. But I am back with an outfit post. I am re-branding and I will have more outfit and fashion related posts on the blog.
My outfit this week is very simple. The weather was warm enough for a dress, but a cardigan was still necessary. Blue is a color that grew on me. I like it because it can be paired with a lot of other colors. But even if I did not like blue at all, this dress would make me. Check it out and tell me what you think!
