BITE BEAUTY The Lip Pencil First Impression REVIEW

I am not one who has time to use a lip pencil before rolling my lipstick on my lips. I try to keep my beauty routine simple by using less products than I should. But when applied right, lip pencils can make the lips look fuller, younger, and more defined. My lips looking fuller was not a concern for me, but I do want my lipstick to last longer and not bleed into my fine lines. I was selected to be part of the BITE BEAUTY + INFLUENSTER #TheLipPencil campaign. I received two lip pencils from their new collection, two lipsticks, and one Sephora biodegradable pencil sharpener.

BITE BEAUTY The Lip Pencil First Impression REVIEW

Bite Beauty The Lip Pencil: $18

If you are not familiar with Bite Beauty, It is a brand that focuses on affordable cruelty-free lip products. Their products range from lip scrubs, lipsticks, lip pencils, lip gloss and lip primers. Their lipsticks contain natural and organic ingredients, something that you do not find often in lip products. They also contain protective antioxidants. Did I give you a reason to bite your lips yet?

The lip pencil from Bite beauty comes in 22 neutral shades. They provide a creamy coverage. I received #044 and #020

Bite Beauty #044 Lip Pencil + Amuse Bouche Lipstick (WHISKEY)

Before and after applying the lipstick

Bite Beauty #020 Lip Pencil + Amuse Bouche Lipstick (HONEYCOMB)

Final thoughts

I was shocked to see how the lip pencils matched the lipsticks perfectly. Both pencils were very creamy and easy to glide on the lips. The level of moisture was definitely something that I did not expect. Both lipsticks exceeded my expectations as well. They are highly pigmented. Don’t let the small tubes fool you. I only needed to swipe once after using the lip pencils. The lipsticks have a light fruity scent, which I love. I also love the semi-matte finish I get when I use the pencil before applying the lipstick. Bite Beauty is known for their unique colors and formula, but these are not colors that I am used to buying, not even close. I was able to experiment with  colors that are out of my comfort zone, and I am glad I did. I will probably wear both lipsticks together in the future because the nude is too light and the whiskey is too dark for my complexion. Other than that, I am very happy with  the lip pencils and the lipsticks.

They look absolutely gorgeous! Are the lipsticks full size? They look kind of small.

I am straight lipstick or gloss type, I've been gifted lip pencils in the past but they just sit in my drawer for years. I think it's because when the lipstick fades, I'm left with a line around the edge of my lips, lol! I love the first tone on you, looks so fresh. Very pretty!
