First Hollar.com Beauty Haul REVIEW

I first learned about hollor.com while going through pictures and videos on Instagram. It was one of those ads that my eyes could not avoid. When I checked out the website, I was a little apprehensive. The prices were too good to be true. After reading a few online reviews, I made my first purchase. This review is for those of you who feels the way I felt when I first heard about it. What is  Hollar? It is an online store created and operated by mostly young entrepreneurs. They sell everyday products at a discounted price. In plain English, it is an online dollar store, with the only difference that they only sell random products and the quantities are limited. Shipping is free when you spend $25.00 or more, which is what I did. And they also credit your account $2.00 after your first purchase.

My First Hollar.com Beauty Haul

All the products were individually wrapped with bubble plastic wraps and secured in a box with the Hollar logo. Shipping was every fast. I received my package within a week, which I thought was very fast.

The Rimmel London lipsticks alone are over $11 each at Walmart. I paid $12 for two on Hollar.com. The OPI nail lacquer cost me only $4, compared to $7 or $8. And everything else was $3 or less.

PROS:
I have not tried their customer service yet, but my shopping experience on hollar.com was great. It was very easy to browse around the website and add beauty products to my shopping cart. They have unbeatable prices. Checking out was also easy. You can choose from different payment options, including Paypal.

CONS: You have to spend $10 before you can check out. You have to pay a restocking fee if you choose to return the products. And you are also responsible for shipping back to them.

As a beauty  blogger on a budget, I thought it was great to find beauty products at a very low price to try and review. If some of the products don't work for me, I will give them away to somebody who needs them instead of returning them to Hollar. Overall, the pros outweigh the cons. I will definitely visit their website again. The kids are already bugging me about buying toys for them.

Have you tried hollar.com before?

  9. I saw a commercial for this company this weekend. It was my first time hearing about them The name annoyed me but I guess it appeals to the youth :) You know I'm a nail polish fan so I love the deal you got on the polishes. Keep us posted if you shop with them again.
