AuroTrends 5-Piece Oval Makeup Brush Set REVIEW

AuroTrends 5-Piece Oval Makeup Brush set looked very attractive when I first saw it. And I have always wanted to try toothbrush style makeup brushes! You probably heard it here before, I bought  the Auro Trends 5-Piece Oval Makeup Brush Set at a discount. The rose gold color was what attracted me to the brushes. The set contains five brushes: powder, blush, concealer, eye shadow brushes. The bigger brushes have an oval, spoon shape. Then there is the linear and the circle brush. I have been lucky when it comes to makeup brushes. I am on my third makeup brush set now. But because the ones that I have look a little tired, I decided to get some new brushes. I listed all the claims below, if you want to skip right to it!

What can these oval makeup brushes do for you?

According to AuroTrends, these brushes are compatible with any type of foundation. You can use them with your BB cream, powder, blush, and so on. They are densely packed with super fine synthetic hair, which will make your makeup look  flawless and streak-free. These brushes were created with the ability to hold your powder, liquid, and cream products. These are multi-purpose brushes that can be used on your cheekbones, lips, and eyebrows. These makeup brushes are also gentle on sensitive skin.

What I really like:

  • Softness (bristles)
  • Ease of use
  • Versatility
  • Color
  • Densely packed
  • Soft handles
What I don’t like:
    • Cheap packaging

My experience with these oval brushes

From translucent powder, foundation, concealer, BB cream, to pressed powder, I have tested all kind of cream and liquid products with these brushes. The powder/foundation brush, like the other brushes, is densely packed. The bristles are very small and close to each other. It’s hard to believe the brushes are made with synthetic hair because they are so soft. These brushes made blending very smooth and easy. I really like the finished look. It’s also very easy to hold the brushes because the handles are also soft. These tools would be great for users with sensitive skin. The contour brush can also be used as a concealer brush, as well as a blush brush. It did work very well for me, especially with my blush.

Overall, all the brushes worked as promised and I am very satisfied with my results. The only problem is the packaging being too cheap. Maybe a little more money can be spent packaging in the future. I also noticed that the powder brush picked up too much powder. But I don’t mind tapping the excess product back in the container. If the brushes are used for the purposes intended, they can last a very long time. I also don’t think the brushes will start shedding any time soon, because they are pretty well made. It is worth mentioning that the powder bush is the only brush that has some weight to it. All the other brushes are very light. But don’t worry, they will not break if they fall on the concrete. I tested that, too.

I have something similar and not to fund of it maybe because it’s to dense and take so much product. Great review

I don't like cheap packaging either, espcially if the product is costly! These sound like pretty good brushes. I still haven't tried oval brushes yet lol! Great review Nerline!

These sound like great brushes! I love my MAC Face and Body foundation, but I hate how all my brushes absorb more foundation than applies to my face. These brushes would probably be perfect for my liquid makeup. Thanks for sharing this review, Nerline! I hope your weekend is off to a good start!
